The following pieces were produced as part of a visual development package for an introductory animation survey course. Our assignment was to individually create a short film, approx. 30 seconds in length, that utilized basic 2D puppeting techniques and simple 3D animation in Maya. In my short film, titled The Hunt, a mischievous house cat imagines itself as a mighty tiger stalking its prey, the long-suffering family dog. Below are the seven point character turnaround, action poses and expression sheet for the dog, completed backgrounds, and the finished film.
