Erica Dion is a recent graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned a BFA in animation with a 2D concentration. She moved to Savannah from California where she received a BA in English Literature from the University of California Berkeley in May of 2018. She has professional experience working in the insurance and food service industries, and has worked as a web content writer. She has also served on the board for the UC Berkeley English Undergraduate Association as the director of public relations, creating fliers and other promotional materials for club events. While at SCAD she worked as a character animator and background artist on the senior film Epochal Juice.
